For those who have already purchased their CX-50, how much did you pay out the door? and what trim level/packages did you get?
I got mine at the same dealer back in April. I still haven't seen another 50 in SD. Perhaps we'll cross paths one day. Enjoy!MSRP at Hello Mazda San Diego.
But with a slight ding on my trade in value. Which is fine. Love the the single point of contact meaning your sales person is doing everything, the sale, the financial part, all the paperwork ect.
Did your vehicle have factory installed options and you asked them to remove it? The one I'm waiting for is 34,920 because it has cargo package, cross bars and cargo mat as factory installed options, but I don't need the cargo package and I was going to ask them to remove it since it's not hard to take off a net or mat.August 15 purchased a preferred plus polymetal gray from Temecula Hello Mazda @ msrp no factory/dealer accessories (~33560). We been looking for about a week and called every dealer south of LA. Temecula called us back they had a cancellation, we dropped everything and got it. I’m in San Diego and local Hello and Temecula each had a red cx50PP on the lot not reserved. Lots of CX-5s in every trim
If it is on the Monroney Sticker (window sticker) it cannot be removed by law. However, you can try to negotiate a lower price since you don’t want the extras (unlikely in this market). But they cannot be taken off.Did your vehicle have factory installed options and you asked them to remove it? I reserved my cx-50 from hello mazda... dod youbuy any add on packages, extended warranty or service contracts I didn't discuss that with them when I went for a test drive and put my deposit? Was anything extra worth buying?MSRP at Hello Mazda San Diego.

I bought my TPP from them in April. All the packages on mine came from the factory, I added nothing at the dealer. If you want the splash guards, buy them from mazadaswag.com and install them yourself. In fact, buy every accessory you want from mazdaswag.com. Don’t buy them from any dealer, the cost is way elevated. You’ll save hundreds of dollars. The only thing I bought extra was three years of oil changes for $600. Well worth it if you do the math on getting 2-3 changes a year.I reserved my cx-50 from hello mazda... dod youbuy any add on packages, extended warranty or service contracts I didn't discuss that with them when I went for a test drive and put my deposit? I have White PP and paid 37.5I used the Consumer Reports/TrueCar service to find a local CX-50 2.5 S Premium Plus in Polymetal with the Cargo Package and Cargo Cover for $38,055 which is $400 under MSRP. I added the Weather Package and Cross-bars at MSRP. (Non-negotiable.)
Add the $499 Dealer Fee (also non-negotiable), Title, Tags, and 2-yr Registration @ $345, and a 6% MD Sales tax of $2352 and I was out the door with a full tank of gas at $41,901.
It’s a sellers market for sure, and I was expecting to pay well over MSRP — by 1.5% or even 2% according to the sales data that CR publishes. So I came away spending about $1000 less than I was expecting to have to pay and I’m pretty satisfied with that, under the circumstances. (Another metro-area dealer actually had an addendum alongside the sticker on their CX-50’s noting a +$10,000 “Market Demand” surcharge. Wow. I sure hope nobody is actually paying that.)
In Maryland also, I just got my TPP (Zircon/Terra) for exactly MSRP, plus the same dealer fees/tax as you. It came with the cargo package and cargo mat (which I didn't want), but I got them to include the all-weather mats for 'free' instead. This was Gaithersburg Mazda.
