I had the same problem and then realized I had to give some time for the car to warm up and then it somehow turned on the seat and steering wheel

This is what I hope I can end up doing bring I also have the heated seats and wheel.

Today I was told set temp for max and leave it on auto and the rear defroster and heated mirrors should come on using remote start. When I mentioned the manual stated make sure the AC buttons off and using auto climate it turns on the ac button. I'll try it but don't think it will work

Overall, they should add those options to turn on or off in the app. I don't always remember to go through all those steps before I get out of the car when I get home.

My genesis gv70 app was basic like ours then they finally updated including winter amd summer setting which included these features. Mazda needs to mature in this respect and they will just hope it's fast

Understood, bit it seems the 10 min is not enough regardless for the engine to heat up in lower temps. Just seems a shame we are unable use the remote start benefits after paying $37,000 for a vehicle. I will speak with mazda to see if there is anything they can do.

its super to heat why else would you need to restart it?!
plus a fob would be way better!!
Sometimes WiFi doesn’t work it takes several attempts to use the app! Definitely not a selling point or benefit of having this car!
Also if your high beam goes out … be prepared to pay 2500$ yes 2500.00 to pay for headlamp replacement !

If you are warming up the cabin in cold to freezing external conditions from overnight sit it would take at least 10 to 15 minutes to feel any heat via cars heater (if not driving car), like 99.9% of cars the heater needs the engines coolant to warm up and get hot.
