Didn’t fit, lower bumper tailpipe openings were too narrow. Never would have thought that.
So it goes on the wife’s 3 next weekend. Can hardly wait until she starts it up for the first time.🤣

 

Do you happen to have a picture of the test fit? Magnaflow website says it has 4" tips, I measured the opening of the lower bumper and its a little over 4".

 

I have a Vibrant 10633 exhaust can with Vibrant 4 1/2" / 115mm tips that I bought years ago and never installed. The can is center inlet so it will sit off-center, but should fit as it measures 24" w x 5" high x 9" deep (front to back). I just checked and there is about 2" of space above the oem can and the heat shield, so the new one should not be a problem for the installer. Test fitted the 4.5" / 115mm tips and it has roughly 1/4" / 6mm of space all around it. If the can does not fit then I'll just replace the tips and/or go FULL COMMANDO and delete the muffler too. 😁
