Buy it again?

Would you buy the 50 again?

Reasons why or why not?

Still ticks almost all the boxes I wanted in a replacement vehicle: torquey turbo, vented seats, CarPlay/Android Auto, great looks, nice driving dynamic.

Only tradeoff is the lack of sound isolation from the road (in a vehicle framed as entry luxury) and even though there is good cargo space, the rear seats could be back another inch or so.

That's my short list.
Responding to the thread cause I feel my answer has sorta changed since I posted in a similar one.

Knowing what I know now, probably not. When I say that, know I would take the CX50 before I would ever touch anything Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Subaru or Kia related. The CX50 is not all bad, but doesn't meet the quality expectations we should hold Mazda at. In some ways, my Chevy excelled in areas where this Mazda hasn't. I know is a new model, but the platform isn't. If I had no other choice, the CX50 is something I could take pride in but maybe next time around, give a possible exception to the Mexican-made Bronco Sport.
Yes, without question. Almost a year and 11k miles, nothing major of concern. Only issues have been a corrupted nav card and a nail in a tire.
It looks great (poly metal TPP), has more features than I expected, good quality and handles great.
It's handled rain and snow and icy roads without issue, even on stock tires.
For me, I'd have to go up to a Porsche suv for what I want and need in a vehicle.

I don't see a "Hell, yes!" response option? ;)

Mine has not been without problems, I had to go to the dealer a couple of times to fix a lock that wouldn't open below freezing which for a new vehicle under 5k is a bit annoying but fixed now, and all in all I have been very happy with it. There was nothing else I test drove that I would prefer now so I would buy again for sure.
So my Cx 50 is 2 weeks old and love it. I came from a gas sucking Silverado at 15 MPG and am getting 27 MPG in my 50.
Yep. I am only about 3500 miles in, but like the steering and ride (preferred plus, so 17" tires). Only annoyance was the luggage bar noise issue, but that was mostly remedied for under $30.

And the red, IMHO, is the best red on the road this model year.

Soul Red is very nice and the new deeper red on the CX 90 looks to be awesome as well.
