I have been waiting since May of 2022 for my Turbo. I have not even heard a single peep from my dealership?????
The dream and anticipation of getting one are fleeting how long does it take???

Its a CX50 thing. I'm in the USA. It seems that it is just a matter of Mazda not building to order. Rather building what they want and shipping it.

What combination did you order? And have you followed up with the dealership?

Man, if you guys are close and can make a drive to San Diego, there are 50's (N/A, and Turbo's) sitting on every Mazda dealer's lot. I just had mine in yesterday for an oil change and my dealer had 8 50's (3 N/A and 5 Turbos). Regional allocation plays a massive part in new vehicle rollouts. Mazda is flooding geographical regions where they know the 50s will not only sell well but also regions that have the highest population of demographic they are aiming this car at.

Seems you Canadians are definitely lower on the totem pole than us Amurcans. I ordered my CX-50 TPP (Zircon/Terra) at the very end of October and am hearing that it will be here this month. Of course, I believe that when it's in my sweaty hands, but it IS now showing up on the dealer web site (as in transit), so that's positive news.

Ordered our CX50 GT Turbo in August. Called the dealer yesterday who said he can't promise anything but suspects it may be June/July 2023 at this point. Called several other dealers in the extended area and got the same response. I'll wait until February and if there's still no definitive indication, I'll look at other vehicles/options. Shame that Mazda Canada can't get a better handle on delivery quotas and timeframes.

In my region (New England) it’s very dealer dependent. When I was hunting for my car I would religiously check the Mazda inventory tool at 100 mile radius and the same 3-4 dealers would show a car in stock or in transit. Now two months later there are 10-15 dealers showing up in the same search. I drove almost 100 miles to get mine. There are 21 dealers inside this radius (some have cars I wasn’t searching for). Point being, some dealers have cars and some don’t and for those that do, some have multiple trim levels while others have only one and many have none. Also worth mentioning, the dealer who told me that they are the largest volume in the territory has very low allocation. So don’t assume if they are big that they are your best shot to get a car.

Just checked central California after reading your post. CarGurus has 158 listings for CX-50’s within 150 miles. That would cover the Central Valley from end to end from my location. I see one dealer who had $500 off MSRP is now doing over $1000 off MSRP on their TPP models. If I were in California, I think I would definitely be shooting for under MSRP on one at this point.
