I had issues with the interior rubber molding around my driver side door. It was installed incorrectly, but an easy fix for me to correct. It looks like you may have to take yours to the dealer to get corrected.

the dealership fix the problem , and mazda hq was notified about the quality control

Just found that mine has the same problem.

when mine was fixed my the dealership they told me the Mazda was looking into this problem.

I didn’t find a defect in the material, but in craftsmanship. Not sure if someone wasn’t paying attention and rushing or a lack of training.

So what is the solution and how do you fix it? I just got mine CX50 last week - same problem. (dealer checked its stock and found another one on a lot with same issue)

I took it to the dealer and they "fixed" it. On the way home, it came loose again! I was told the need a new part and they will order one. Because the car is new, it might take a time.

I just want to make sure that it is safe for me to use pressure, touchless car wash without danger of putting water into the door panel.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

When my dealership ordered the part it took about a week to get , as for washing the car, I didn’t have any water enter the car when I washed mine

I am waiting for my part....we will see how long will it take. I will keep you guys posted.

Part came today and dealer replaced it in 20 minutes. Good as new.

I had the same issue on my brand new TPP. Brought it to the dealer and the service advisor just banged it back into place haha.

I have the same issue. I pushed it back and it was sitting in place for couple months, then popped up again.
I'll show the problem to the dealer at next service
