I'll start it off with my 2 day old Turbo Premium Plus! Took it for a mountain drive to break it in, fun vehicle to drive on twisty gravel roads in Off-Road mode.

I got them from the dealership. I installed the rockers, sport pedal kit and illuminated sill plates today, kind of geeked out with accessories. Black Mazda license plate frame, rubber mats and cargo cover were the others.

The sills were the easiest, they are battery powered so no wiring, just put the template on the sill and stick them down, hopefully they stay in place.

The pedals require drilling for the throttle and dead pedal, not hard, just a cramped space to work in. The brake pedal was the worst, it is tough to get the thick rubber to bend.

The rockers required drilling as well and drilling into a brand new car made me think, WTF am I doing?!? Not tough to do but take it slow. Using the templates is a must.

The rocker garnish is attached with inserts and glue, drilling is required. The illuminated sill plates are adhesive only.

On a side note, the sill plate chrome scratches easily.

This color is outrageous. The pearlescent sheen, the way the color shifts with the body lines, just incredible. Difficult to keep clean though, I am guessing?

I had a pearl CX-5 and now a Ranger w/Platinum white... IMO white is the easiest to keep clean as it takes a lot to make it look dirty.. then as you go to darker colors dirt shows more quickly but when clean they typically look better.. black being the worst, I'll never have another black vehicle.. lol

This is a fantastic spec. I have a 9 yr old Audi allroad PP and I still love it, but when it’s time to trade her, I’ve decided a CX-50 will be my next car. There hasn’t been another car that’s wowed me enough to want to take on a car payment again, but it’s coming whether I like it or not. Mazda is on a roll and doesn’t know how to build an ugly car (that electric CA-only thing notwithstanding), something that Audi and Mazda have in common. My parents had a 2018 CX-9 Signature and that blew me away. Interior and features on par with my Audi. And we also have a newer RF in the family and that car has always impressed. I’ve built a ton of CX-50s on the site but never thought I’d like the white (although I’ve had two white Outbacks in the past). I knew I wanted the chrome rocker trim and Googled that because you can’t find any pics of that option and found images of your car. I love the white! And the rockers really add a beautiful and classy finishing touch. Looks so upscale. I’m really waiting for the Hybrid, but this is how I’d order this car. Mazda’s trajectory to the upscale sub-premium market is coming on strong. I thought I’d have to spring for another allroad when the time comes till they came out with this. And yours is perfect. Well done.

I ripped off the same look. But played up interior with some things too. Even painted calipers a “windchill “ color. I can’t get over good feeling I get from this car.
