I did the 17's to have more sidewall on the tire for the days off-road and to decrease road noise on the highway. I'm very happy with this setup. It has been a big improvement over the stock setup and the greatly improved traction from the all terrain tires has been a life saver with all the snow and ice this winter. Whatever setup you put on, pay attention to your wheel and tire weight. Increasing unsprung rotational weight will affect gas mileage, handling and braking. Even with the more aggressive tires, I just averaged almost 23 mpg on a 3000 mile trip (MT to CA) doing 80 -85 on the interstate and driving in heavy north bay traffic for 10 days.
