Front end was completely frozen over but my CX-50 handled the wintry conditions like a champ.
Do you have the factory all-season tires or are you using winter tires?

I love the LED headlamps on my Mazdas. But as you can clearly see the one downside is that they give off no real heat and don't melt the ice.

I usually apply some wax to the outside and it keeps them cleaner, longer.

Stock tires as moving out of state later this spring and won't need a set of snow tires. And good call on the wax. I hadn't even noticed they were iced over until I parked. I usually use RainX on them but didn't help much in this case.

Wow! Thanks for sharing. Good job with driving through this mess. Glad to hear the CX preformed so well.

We live on the Canadian prairies where we get lots of cold weather and we are really pleased with how our vehicle handles the cold. Some people claim their side view mirrors freeze up during cold weather, but so far ours have been good. We’ll just turn off the auto fold feature if we later have problems with that.

Can’t say we’ve run into weather like this though. How did your wipers preform? Did your front and side windows stay clear? I suspect your front camera stopped working, as it appears buried!
