I'm sure glad I shelled out for the tire warranty. 1,700 miles and I picked up a sheet metal screw that was too close to the sidewall to be repaired. Learned my lesson with my previous car that had very low-profile tires. worthless on city and town roads. Zero cost to get it replaced so well worth it.

When I bought my CX9 last year on the 2nd day I had it I ran over a box cutter blade in the street and it gashed my my tire. Irreparable. I did not have wheel tire insurance.
