I just got it custom-painted (only the recessed portion) to match the Zircon Sand paint — although I liked the original all-black look I could envision that painting the recessed surface to match the body color could look very custom and integrated.

Very nice touch with the color match! I went with the Titan Glossy Motion XT L. I wanted a little contrast color up top. But that color match you did is classy!
