I’ve been a long time WeatherTech user. Between the last few cars for both my wife and I we’ve bought 7 sets of WeatherTech mats. I’ve always enjoyed the better coverage they provided than the all weather options that manufacturers offered. I’ve only had two gripes with WeatherTech over the years. One, it’s hard to argue that they don’t make your vehicle look like the interior of a work truck. And two, inevitably sooner or later the edges become deformed and start folding over. Especially on the rear sections which it seems like WeatherTech manufactures them thinner to save on cost. Once that happens they really start to look horrible.
First time I saw the TuxMat was on this forum and I’m thrilled with the discovery because these are such an incredible product compared to the other options. I don’t understand how the WeatherTech mats can sell for as much as they do when you have this option for nearly the same price. They’re not at all in the same league. The TuxMat looks a million times better (less like a work truck), they provide better coverage, and with the clips they remain flat and tight to the trim.
