Put down a deposit on a Polymetal Grey Terracotta Turbo Premium Plus. Should be at dealer at end of august!

Super excited, first Mazda I've ever owned, first crossover too. I needed something that could tow because I've built up quite the motorcycle fleet.

I've seen some of the forum pictures and cannot wait to get the Polymetal / Terracotta combo. I think it looks amazing.

I'll be diving into the tuning and modification world once the warranty is up. I cannot wait to see what's available!

I currently have a BMW Coupe with some mods - love the car - however it doesn't fit our needs anymore.

We have started getting bigger dogs (Rottweilers vs. Dachshunds), I've started renting out my motorcycles for some side cash, and we've been taking more road trips.

I found the CX50 because I was searching for something that checks these boxes...
Tow 3000+
Turbo motor with aftermarket support
Relatively low maintenance cost
Cargo space above 25 cubic ft in trunk
Under $45k

I actually made a spreadsheet to track all the options... the Mazda CX50 and Ford Maverick we're the only 2 NEW vehicles that really fit this criteria. Wife was more comfortable with a new vehicle than a used one; so we test drove both of those vehicles. Maverick is pretty great but having it be 10 inches longer, and a Ford, started to lean me towards the CX50.

After test driving it, watching every possible youtube video, researching about the 2.5T engine obsessively finally pulled the trigger. Mazda has always designed pretty attractive cars for the price point, and now with the more premium interior, it was the right time to make the jump!

Welcome @Mickormack and congrats on ordering your CX-50! Since it's your first Mazda what made you check it out? Also, what kinds of bikes do you have?
I've had...
1975 Honda CB550
1982 Honda CB900c
2012 Triumph Bonneville SE
2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT

I currently own:
2014 Honda CTX1300 Deluxe
2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT (Yes, I bought the same year/mode bike after selling it previously)
2013 Triumph Trophy SE

Mazda definitely has one of, if not the best looking vehicle lineup in the industry. The Maverick is a great value for a small pickup but the CX-50 is worth the extra money, especially with the interior.

The CTX1300 Deluxe is a really nice bike. Always liked the way it looked.

I had a 2001 Thunderbird, now own a Yamaha FZ-07, probably looking to sell. I'm 67 and just don't ride much anymore.

Mine has come in! I was debating passing on this one and waiting for the next one bc my wife and I have made 1 car work for a while but sooner I get it sooner warranty runs out and sooner I can start building the engine out. 😈
