The wife and I recently picked up a new Mazda (our 5th).

This is a CX50 Turbo Premium Plus.

We chose the Zircon Sand/Terracotta combination. It is pretty awesome.

We added:

Illuminated door sills.
All weather mats
Black lugnuts&locks
Retractable Cargo Cover
Cargo Package
XPEL Front Protection Film

Car Wheel Land vehicle Vehicle Tire

Sweet !! Tell me about the XPEL front Protective film?? Wich part does it protect? How much did it cost?
Just had Xpel applied to our 50 a couple of days ago. They covered the hood, bumper, front fenders, mirrors, and headlights. Also did the door edges and center console.

Looks good, does this stop swirl marks from car wash’s? Ball park of cost?
I wash all my cars by hand so I don’t get swirl marks. It depends where you are located, but the place that did my 50 charges around $1500.

it is costly but it’s worth the investment whether you keep the car or sell it. I can tell you from experience, my Corvette‘s paint job was saved from a massive rock mishap by a truck dropping gravel on the road by mistake!

It will prevent swirls on the paint wherever you've used the paint film protection. The nice underlying benefit is the XPEL film is mildly self healing. What I mean is when it is warm it will essentially eliminate minor surface issues (scratches) by itself. Then in addition you can always use a good polymer wax (XPEL recommends theirs of course lol). But nothing wrong with using what they recommend as it is a thoroughly modern polymer wax.

I did the following:

Front Bumper (including the 5-point grille)
A B & C Pillars
Door Mirrors
Hood (with leading edge)
Front Fenders

It was probably $1500 at retail, and well worth it.
