Between my family, wife and I l, we had 9 CX-5s and we have never replaced brake pads under45,000 miles. Today at our Mazda dealer in Manchester, NH our CX-50 with only 28,000 miles front pads only have 2mm left!?!?! From all the complaints we read online, I will be emailing a Mazda VP ASAP at US headquarters to pay for new pads and drums, pass this on, thanks Lou & Lisa B

HS anyone else experienced premature from brake pad wear on CX-50 under 40,000 miles

Yes after our family has leased over 10 CX-5’s none needing front brakes under 40,000 miles
Our CX-50 now needs front pads and rotors at only 28,000 miles with only 2 mm remaining

We are shocked and will never lease another CX-50 after reading about all the premature break pad failures under 35,000 miles, Lou & Lisa
