Finally got the OEM hitch and 7pin cable sorted. First time out towing with it. Handling was rock solid and hills were a breeze with the Turbo. Trailer is about 1800 lbs dry, a little over 2000 as towed.

How do you like your Rove Lite? We were looking at one as a possible replacement for our tent trailer since our kids are older now and it's usually just the two of us. Either that or a Casita.

Quick picture from this morning after getting snows mounted on the stock wheels and the stock all-seasons swapped onto our old aftermarket wheels from our CX-9. Specs on the wheels in case anyone's wondering are (no longer available) Braelin BR02's, 20x8.5" ET45 (same offset as stock but 0.5" wider). The wheels are also over 8 pounds lighter per corner than the stock wheels.

When we're due for a change in all-season rubber, I might upsize a little to a 255/45R20 to gain a little more rim protection (with only a little over 1% difference in speedometer reading), though my wife already curbed all four wheels pretty badly when they were on the CX-9...LOL.

I definitely like it! Just wish there were more aftermarket parts for the vehicle. New to Mazdas so don’t really know what the aftermarket scene looks like for Mazda

There's quite a bit for other Mazdas, but the CX-50 is both new and lower in numbers, so noone's really geared up for it (yet). But now they're selling in China too, so a fair bit more stuff has been appearing recently. Check mikstore.ph for a selection oof what's available (though you might find it cheaper on Aliexpress, or even some things on Amazon).
