Oem Oil filter part number?

anyone know the part number for the oem oil filter?

Unsurprisingly looks like it is identical to the all other vehicles with the same engines:

Skyactiv-G 2.5L Turbo: 1WPY-14-302
Skyactiv-G 2.5L: 1WPE-14-302

I saw some concerns "out there" about certain manufacturing locations for filters with these or comparable numbers via Amazon, but I'd assume it is safest if you purchase directly or online from a Mazda dealer (dealers who have a direct web sale presence are often cheaper).

I can’t speak to the 2.5 motor, but as a former Miata owner, it was always discussed in Miata forum about finding the Oem filter originally fitted to the motor from the factory that is made in Japan. The Mazda filter that you will purchase from the dealer is made in Taiwan. The two filters are comparable in size, but do appear a little different in design. It is near impossible to find the OEM filter.
