Bought it 3 weeks ago. So far so good. Production date is January of 23 so hopefully some of things I've been reading about have been addressed. 🤞. Very informative forum, thanks to everyone for sharing.
What kind of PPF are you getting? Full frontal? Full car? Partial front? What brand?Picture coming soon. Having ppf, tint, and calipers painted in 2 weeks.
I’m getting Xpel applied next Monday. Have it on my Corvette and wife’s Camaro since 2015. Awesome stuff! We’re in MO, south of KC.What kind of PPF are you getting? Full frontal? Full car? Partial front? What brand?
my guy here in Florida is gonna do mine (third car I’ve taken to him) full frontal Xpel and ceramic coated for 2k
I didn't find it myself. Having it done using the paint code located on the driver's door sticker.Welcome from another new PMG owner!
That is quite an extensive list but seeing that you keep your cars for so long, it is a very worthwhile investment. Interested to see the body colored calipers, where did you find caliper paint to match?
Xpel fusion full car, ceramic coating wheels, painting the calipers same color as the car, exterior glass coating, uv tint entire front windshield with darker strip on the top, tinting both front windows to match the rear, xpel film on center console and center display. We spoke about some kind of coating for the exterior plastic but undecided. Going to check it out this Sunday and see if I think it's worth it. You don't want to know how much... I tend to keep my cars for a very long time so hopefully this all holds up. Had my last vehicle for 14years and put 310k miles on it.
I had it applied on my 15 C7 8 years ago right after I purchased it. A few weeks later, a dump truck coming from a rock quarry forgot to close its tail gate and dumped rocks all the highway! I went from 5th gear to 3rd in a second and slowed down. Got to work and no scratches on the car but was covered in rock dust! That's good to hear. Never had any of this done to any of my cars, was always on the fence on weather it was actually worth it. First brand new car for me so I figured I'd give it a shot. Definitely ain't cheap but hopefully worth it.
Ok, I thought that might have been the case. Please post some pics when they are finished.I didn't find it myself. Having it done using the paint code located on the driver's door sticker.
I was pissed alright, but was relieved that it wasn’t damaged! You can’t even tell there’s Xpel on the car!Wow, I still would have been pissed even if it didn't scratch my vette. Definitely will post pics, hopefully I get it back next weekend.
Thanks! 8 years old this month, 64K miles on the odometer.Wow.. that's a sweet ride.
