Hi all! New owner of a 2023 CX 50 GT Turbo in polymetal grey. Picked it up today (had my CX30 arrive yesterday after a 4 month wait and ended up getting this. I've owned/leased several Mazdas over the years, starting with an 04 6, then an RX8, CX3, CX5 (100th Anniversary Edition), and now the CX50. I'm old school, and like some other owners, would have preferred a choice of lighter 17 wheels with meatier rubber for this vehicle. Waits for Meredians were too long, sooooo....anyways, love the interior and general meaner stance of this. Probably my last gas vehicle. Waiting for a viable and more appealing EV from Mazda. Anyways, really happy to be jooning the forum. Looking forward to learning and sharing. 🙂

Congrats and welcome! We picked up our Soul Red TPP on March 1st and we love it! This is our 4th Mazda(Miata, Mazda 3, CX5). My wife’s cousin is coming over today to help me install mud guards.

Welcome, I see you found the best 50 forum.
Congrats.
Welcome, I see you found the best 50 forum.
Congrats.
Thanks very much. Yes, did some searching and this was definitely the best forum.
Welcome and congrats from another PMG and multiple Mazda owner. The CX-50 is our tenth Mazda since 2006. Too bad it wasn't around to get a 100th Anniversary Edition too.

We have the PFP which is my wife's daily. It had everything she wanted. We didn't test drive a turbo but I know she would not have been a fan of the ride with the 20" wheels. Dealer had a Meridian on the lot but she didn't like the interior. She preferred (no pun intended) the all black interior of the PFP.
Thanks! Sounds like another Mazda family youve got there. I wasn't crazy about the Meredian interiors either. Getting some 18s on the Turbo will set things right.

Looking forward to seeing what style 18s you choose.
Right now these are the leading candidate...pretty aggressive offset but ought to look better than the tucked look. A bit heavier than Id like but a good looking suv/truck tire...
