Just purchased 2023 CX-50 PP with active display. I have purchased 3 different NAV SD cards and none of them will load. I just get the standard message that car is Nav ready and just insert a card. My car is made in USA and I sure the card I need is TD2K 66 EZ1A. Inserted with lock off and car off but nothing happens.

I bought a car for my old 2020 CX- 5 had active display and I really liked seeing the speed limit and street signs on my active display. Yes, I can use Apple CarPlay for Nav but no signs or speed limit on my windshield.
I hate to pay the dealer $449 and it not work!

I purchased this SD Card on Amazon, loaded immediately and works properly. I have the CX-50 Turbo Premium. The price has come down a bit, as well.

I purchased that exact card and it just sat there and then the system crashed

If the vendor refunded your purchase I would try again. Vendors will work with you generally and sometimes just send a replacement. Right after I installed this card in the CX-50 my wife's CX-5 Nav failed. I purchased a different card from Amazon and was back in business.

Actually, I don’t because for a 24 moth lease, it’s not worth the money, I will just go without. The new system burns in the vin number, it can’t be used in another car or the maps updated. Not worth $450 to me
Dealership installed accessories are able to be residualized in the lease. In other words, you wouldn't have paid $450.

So I put the SD card in the center console before I went to work and I left it there and I drove my other car to work. When I got home and turned the car on it instantly worked. There was no install or anything like that. The only downside is it's a map from 2020 so I reached out to the seller to see if there is a way to update it....

Otherwise it looks good.

I have never tried this Mazda Navigation Update site but have heard that it works:

I would think your SD card would be compatible. You need to remove the card and insert in your computer to update.
