can someone comment on their experience with Mazda connected service via MyMazda app? Particularply does it work well with having two different users using remote start features (obviously not both users at the same time). Curious how well it works or not work.

I only have it on my phone, we have not put it on my wife's, so I cannot tell you how multiple users goes. I will say, so far my experience has been flawless. I start the car when I leave my classroom and so far it has worked every time without fail. The status does require you to pull down to refresh, but it always refreshes within a few seconds. I have been very happy with it and will definitely pay for the subscription whenever my trial ends.

You cant have multiple users unfortunately. One registered device per vehicle at a time.

I will renew my subscription with the trial ends
Please confirm only (1) device can be setup to remote start the vehicle?

We didn't set up both phones while at the dealership. Mostly because we were parked in the sun and it was 110°, but I just thought I'd get around to it. Now we're staring down the barrel of real, actual winter in the Midwest and I'd sure like to be able to remote start the car, myself, once in a while.

Only 1 mazda account can be used per vehicle. whether or not you can login to the account on another phone and remote start, I dont know.

Go to the MyMazda app that you have set up for the primary driver. Tap on the hamburger menu button and select "My Mazda"-->"My Vehicle". Then tap "Drivers" below the photo of a CX-50. Then "Manage Drivers". Finally "Invite Driver". This will ask for some information and then it will send them an email invite. From there, download the MyMazda app onto the new driver's phone and have them register. Once they complete the registration, their invite will show up for them to accept. They will now have whatever access you gave them when you invited them, including remote start.

I just set this up on my wife's phone tonight and tested it. Both her phone and mine can start the car, unlock it, lock it, etc. The only difference is that I am the primary driver and she is a secondary. I assume that means I can control what she has access to, she cannot invite or delete people.

Not entirely accurate. Look at my post above to see how to add a secondary driver to your car.

New to the group. I have multiple users on my 2023 CX-50, and the lock and unlock used to work fine from the phone, but the Mazda never once remote started. Every attempt was a fail. I went back to the dealer on Wednesday, where they blew out the app on my phone and the wife's, and we started over. Now nothing works, so they told me to chat with Mazda via the app, which can't be done due to the storm in Florida...that one has me baffled. I attempted to email them, but they don't even have the 2023 Mazda CX-50 in the drop downs as an option, so that was a fail. I called the number and spoke to a guy who kept putting me on hold so he could do something in the background. 20 minutes later he said he couldn't make contact with my CX-50, like there was no signal or something. Well, he never asked me where my car was, so I pulled it out of the garage, verified that I had signal via the number of bars on my phone and we started over with me being on hold. 20 minutes later he told me he elevated my issue up to the Mazda mother ship, and they should respond in 24-48 hours, we'll see.

Check out this recent thread. I'm willing to bet that if you complete the TCU update on your own, you can fix the issue without dealing with the mother ship. TCU DRIVER Software Update available for CX-50.
AWSD, thank you for the information on the TCU update. I took my CX-50 to the dealer, and I am finally able to remote start. Sad when you have to tell the dealer the TSB number and convince them it's not an app issue.
