Update: The two fobs are of different types. One with a black top that's much thicker and longer than the silver one. Both work fine.
Without a case. Clearly different.
If it's a case, it's not one I put on. And don't see a way to take it off if it is a case. And if it is, don't know why the dealer would only do that with 1 fob.Is this a joke that I don’t get? In one picture, one fob has a case on it and the other doesn’t. In another picture, one fob has two different cases on it (which seems foolish) and the other has one.
Have you tried to access the emergency key or the battery? If it's a case, it's not one I put on. And don't see a way to take it off if it is a case. And if it is, don't know why the dealer would only do that with 1 fob.
I didn't notice it. I put one key fob, the large one, in my pocket, the other was put up for an emergency. Only reason I noticed now is I'm moving and took my spare apartment keys off that key ring.Have you tried to access the emergency key or the battery?
If that’s NOT a case on it, I’m shocked. It sure looks to me like the same buttons and Mazda logo peeking out.
I also find it kind of hard to believe that you didn’t previously notice that the fobs were different. Which is why I asked if there was some kind of joke that I just didn’t get.
