Key fobs are differently sized

Bought some silicone covers for the key fob. Had the worst time putting the first one on. Second fit like a glove. Then I noticed that they are different sizes.
Anyone else notice that theirs are different as well? Have to go check the smaller one later to see if it works. I think it does but it's been a while.

Update: The two fobs are of different types. One with a black top that's much thicker and longer than the silver one. Both work fine.

All six of my 3 Mazdas fobs are identical in size.
So……you may have a collectors dream unicorn there.🤣
Is this a joke that I don’t get? In one picture, one fob has a case on it and the other doesn’t. In another picture, one fob has two different cases on it (which seems foolish) and the other has one.

If it's a case, it's not one I put on. And don't see a way to take it off if it is a case. And if it is, don't know why the dealer would only do that with 1 fob.
Mine are both the same size and design; like the left one in picture 3.

Perhaps they lost a fob and used an aftermarket replacement or a fob from a different model? I'm not familiar with the rest of the fobs for current Mazda line.
Interesting. The key on the right has clearly either been replaced, or has some sort of aftermarket case.

Have you tried to access the emergency key or the battery?

If that’s NOT a case on it, I’m shocked. It sure looks to me like the same buttons and Mazda logo peeking out.

I also find it kind of hard to believe that you didn’t previously notice that the fobs were different. Which is why I asked if there was some kind of joke that I just didn’t get.

The larger of your two fobs obviously already has a case on it. I can't tell you why your dealer put a case on one fob and didn't bother to tell you but that's what I see here.

I didn't notice it. I put one key fob, the large one, in my pocket, the other was put up for an emergency. Only reason I noticed now is I'm moving and took my spare apartment keys off that key ring.
On reddit, someone cracked the case. It is a third-party case that the dealer added to one fob.
One on the right is huge! What was the dealer thinking? Let me make it bigger than the standard? Cause everybody wants a key fob that reminds them of their first cell phone! Hey and let’s just make it to only open doors!! Yeah they can use their phone to start it. Hee hee hee they’ll think the fobs the phone hee hee!!. Go Mazda!!
