This is the first one to be delivered in my province. Don’t know if I should be excited. Walked into the dealer for a MX5 and saw this in stock, took it instantly, the look definitely worth the entire price tag and the rest of the car is virtually free. Pretty good consider how cheap the price tag is. Cooled seats are a plus. Interior design is great but material choice is a pretty big draw back. Ride quality is ok, wish I can have 18 inch wheels instead of the 20. Handling is amazing. Gas mileage is simply amazing, averaging 13MPG currently, never had a car this efficient. First time trying this brand and it’s amazing. Miles will be racking up quick, hopefully everything is a smooth sail. Infotainment system is amazing, reminds me of my old X5M, same with the Center console arm rest thing. Gauge cluster screen is simple and amazing. Power isn’t as good as the numbers suggested but still, for the price you can’t do any better. So far really happy with the car.

Welcome to the forum @ILikePoutine, what other vehicles were you considering before going with the CX-50?

Congratulations @ILikePoutine! For me it's one of the better looking SUVs on the market. What were you driving before the CX-50?

2022 Outback XT, 2020 Audi SQ5 and 2017 Mercedes GLA45. The interior shows Mazda’s commitment to premium segment but you can tell the interior quality is at 2015 ish Mercedes’ CLA/GLA/B class standard. Considering how much this vehicle cost, I’d give it a pass. The gas pedal tuning and engine is so Audi.

Honestly I wasn’t even considering any SUV before I bought this thing. My Defender 90 is going to be here in 3 months. This is simply a impulse purchase. Not planned

.........I wouldn't call that amazing in fact that is terrible, besides we don't use mpg in Canada so maybe your conversion calculation is not too good 😀

I’m averaging 18.7L/100km. My conversion should be correct.

your photograph shows 8.7.

Puzzled as to how you can say 18.7 is amazing?

That’s when I just picked up the car from the dealer. That’s pure highway. I’ve been doing some deliveries in town now the car has 200km on it already. 100% City driving 18.7L/100km. Either dealer didn’t fill it up completely or gas tank is small. Only slightly less than 3/4 tank left. Either way it’s going to save me so much on gas. I’m used to paying $100-120 a day for gas with my old car
it's hard to judge fuel economy on a new purchase till you get a few thousand kilometers on it.

I have the same 2.5L engine in my CX-30 that is in the CX-50 and also the same transmission, just not the turbo version and I'm extremely pleased with my fuel economy.

Wow $100-$120 a day, you must driving a truck! 😁 My last fill up covering 685 km at $2.04 a litre cost me $84.30 to fill 😀

I’ll let the car past break in period and retest the mileage. I ran out of the gas in the cx50 and need to fill it up today. So far did 357km on the first tank. Very impressive. I don’t have a truck, I have sorta performance oriented cars
