I promise I’ll more likely see 3.8 than 33.8. I think I’m hypomiling instead of hypermiling.
I am not aware of what either word means?I promise I’ll more likely see 3.8 than 33.8. I think I’m hypomiling instead of hypermiling.
Hypermiling - the act of driving as efficiently as possible, including using the least amount of energy needed to do the task, the least braking, etc.I am not aware of what either word means?
Explain please.
Ok got it, thanks.Hypermiling - the act of driving as efficiently as possible, including using the least amount of energy needed to do the task, the least braking, etc.
Hypomiling - is not a thing, past being made up by me, intended to connote the opposite.
I have the 2.5 L 4cylinder pref plus, its rated for little bit better mpg than turbo. I tried Hypermiling just to see whats the best it can do😎. My daily drives are about 29mpg combined for city and freeway. Were you and some buddies pushing it or something? I can't imagine getting this mileage. I run on 'Normal' in my turbo premium and the mileage is firmly in the mid 20's.
Almost the same daily milage here, 👍🏼 29 mpg freeway city combined. That hypermiling run was without coasting in neutral. Just feathering the throttle and only accelerating when necessary. Empty evening roads as well.Don't coast in neutral, it will ruin your car. I live in the humid south, no way I am going with no A/C and the windows up. 50MPH on the highway, I don't have that time in my life. 28MPG on the HW in my Meridian.
