I recently bought an S22 Ultra which is an absurdly large phone (I actually regret it; My wife got the S22 Plus and it's way better size/weigh). Will it fit in the wireless charging area on the CX50? I pick mine up in a month (allegedly).

Phone Dimensions:
77.9 x 163.3 x 8.9 mm

I have the S21 Ultra with a thin Spigen case and it works perfectly with the wireless charger pad.

The dimensions of the phone are similar:
165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9 mm

P.s. I too regretted getting the ultra due to its size :)

Relatedly, is anyone else having trouble with iPhone charging? My iPhone 12 Pro Max fits and the green LED light and phone both indicate active charging, but phone slowly loses power while using wireless CarPlay. I've tested with an official MagSafe case, a very thin regular case, and just the bare phone, all with the same result.

I'm seeing online that iPhone 12s in particular might have issues with certain wireless chargers, but don't have another iPhone model to test. Also, I realized I'm testing with an almost fully charged device (90% or higher) and the manual does say that charging may not operate normally for a fully charged device.

I also am tired of the oversized Max models after owning two...just less convenient in general, and I've torn through two pairs of shorts while crouching down with the phone in pocket. Probably will move to the standard model size on my next phone purchase.

My iPhone 12pro is constantly draining on the pad because it stops charging, the indicator switches to blinking red after it was originally green and charging. I get no notification except for the red blinking and the lack of charge symbol on the battery in carplay mode. Neither of which is enough for me to notice right away.

Never had the problem with previous wireless charger, very disappointed. I am assuming it is because it gets overheated but it happens all the time. I have tried with mag case and without, doesn't seem to matter.

Also having issues with wireless carplay. Phone will be connected with Bluetooth instead and frequently it will not allow me to switch to carplay mode/greyed out. Even if I go to the connectivity menu it won't change.

Initially when I purchased the car this was one of the features I was eager to test out. Sadly my iPhone 13pro max does not charge, My work iPhone 10XR does charge. I am hoping Mazda comes out with a fix for the growing phones.
