hi everyone. non-bose stereo, sunroof and handling are great. my 4th mazda so far after 2 NAs and a CX-5.

only dream is to make it look tougher and get a 3-4 inch lift with 32s and some trimming, f/r light bars with side lights, fender rock lights and f/r brush guards. has anyone done something like this?

Welcome! Happy to hear that you have enjoyed your CX-50 for the past several months. We have had ours for only two weeks but loving it, so far! This is our 10th Mazda overall, past Mazda's included a Protege5, MPV, 2010 Mazda3 sedan, NB, NC, 2016.5 CX-5 and a 2020 CX-5. Current stable including the CX-50 are an ND and 2008 Mazda3 hatch.

Personally, I haven't seen anything like that done yet. Here is a thread where another member used spacers to lift it. Maybe not as extreme as to what you are looking for but can give you some visuals.

Personally, I'm out of my off-roading phase (used to have a big lifted truck). I'd like to achieve 300hp with my TPP when I don't have to worry about keeping a warranty intact. Until then, I'm enjoying it for what it is. I'm stacking on the miles and waiting for corksport to release their exhaust, intercooler kit, etc., and for DRTuned to work out their tune for the Skyactiv G 2.5T.

I'd like to achieve 300hp with my TPP
Old fart here and I'm past both phases but I like the Mad Max look. I read the stock tranny is having some issues with the stock turbo so either install a shift kit, custom ECU or whatever gets the job done so you can get that rush in your veins.
I've had a F150 4x4, a Mustang with Edelbrock everything + other goodies that set me back $10k in parts. Also had a '04 Yamaha R1 with p&p, full titanium exhaust + $4k in power goodies so I understand what it's like driving like a bat out of hell 🦇 So enjoy but check out the tranny issue before dumping too much cash. I blew a JW stall converter in the Mustang and those things are not cheap - so be aware.

What kind of issues have you been hearing about?

This is just one of the threads I've found. Not the turbo but the tranny

Oh I thought you were talking about Mazda saying there was an issue.
Yeah there always are a few isolated issues with every vehicle.
