I want to add my dash cam but I want to be sure it doesn’t block the front camera at all. Has any install a dash cam and any issues with the systems that the camera uses.
Thank you
Thank you
Not having a dash cam (yet) and not to come across as a smartazz, but why not mount your dashcam….I want to add my dash cam but I want to be sure it doesn’t block the front camera at all. Has any install a dash cam and any issues with the systems that the camera uses.
Thank you
I get that, which makes me wonder why manufacturers don’t have it as an option?I want to keep it as much out of view as possible.
I like a nice clean look
You cannot block the front camera unless you mount your dashcam outside!I want to add my dash cam but I want to be sure it doesn’t block the front camera at all. Has any install a dash cam and any issues with the systems that the camera uses.

Thank you! I looked at mine again, the left of the rear view mirror seems the same as the right. Can you explain the difference please. Also, can it be mounted center of windshield below the mirror? You cannot block the front camera unless you mount your dashcam outside! The forward camera & sensors are all inside that 'box' that surrounds the rearview mirror mount.
I mounted mine just to the passenger side of the rearview mirror box, so the lens was just below the screened/dotted printed area. I really wanted to mount it on the driver side, but there was not enough space behind the left edge of the mirror.
It can be mounted anywhere your little heart desires. Just remember that you shouldn't block your vision out of the windshield! Also, some states (California, maybe?) don't allow anything to be mounted on the windshield - so check your local laws.Thank you! Thank you again
Mine is directly underneath the mirror, zero issues. Connected to power source that's internal to the home-link mirror. Did you use a dongle and was it easy to connect to the mirror?Mine is directly underneath the mirror, zero issues. Connected to power source that's internal to the home-link mirror. Works great!
I have premium plus model (without powered mirror). I ran power to the usbs under dash for the time being. Still very clean.Did you use a dongle and was it easy to connect to the mirror?
I couldn't work out why your camera fits there with plenty of space when my Viofo A119 mini would not...I have the Garmin Mini tucked under the left side of the Mirror. Works great...

Can you explain and post pics of how you got the wires down? I’m looking at mine and the A pillar trim seems extremely tight.I have the Garmin Mini tucked under the left side of the Mirror. Works great...
