For those of you who are interested in modifying your CX-50s for trails and outdoor activities, now you have an easy way to add lights. You can buy the brackets alone for $79.99 USD, or you can add Rigid spot lights or flood lights for an additional $220.00 USD.

I check their site quite often to see what mods they come out with, so I thought I'd just share the news. It's nice to see them adding something to the catalogue about once a month. Can't wait to see what they come out with next!

You know that’s a fairly reasonable price for the complete setup.
I had mounted some floods in the same area on my Jeep Gladiator and found them to be a very nice additional light source up there on the hood. Great ditch lights on deserted back roads.
Thanks for the info and link.

I don't know. Stuck on the back of that nice long hood they just don't look right, I think it's too obvious that they're an afterthought. Figure out how to incorporate them into the fake air intakes (WHY DIDN'T MAZDA DO THAT!!!), now that would be a much better look. Maybe if the LED's themselves had a more rounded housing to blend better with the headlights they wouldn't look so bad? JMHO...

Once you have the brackets, you could add any light of your choice. Personally, if I were to add these, I’d go with something from Baja designs.
Where is the mounting location photo? I checked the website but I do not see it. Was going to get the magnetic mounts but may get these instead with cheaper lights. My ride is just for show and will never see dirt - lol
