Hello everyone and greetings from Canada

I have a Turbo GT up here and CorkSport has just released their BBK for it. With the stock 20" wheels though, I'm told that a 15 mm spacer would have to be installed and so longer wheel studs. I realize the CX-50 is pretty new but in general, does anyone have any experience with installing spacers/long wheel studs that would widen the track of the vehicle in the front only? (Handling etc.)

Thanks

I just don’t see the point to the BBK. Read the description, it lets you install 330mm discs… to replace your 325mm discs. The whole way they wrote that product description just doesn’t make sense, there is such a tiny increase in brake disc diameter/thickness that there really isn’t much gain there. The calipers look great and probably work well, but may not be much of an improvement. I doubt you’ll be able to feel any difference at all, and the wider calipers force you to deal with lower offset wheels or spacers/longer studs.

Paint your calipers and save $1600 plus installation plus wheels or spacers. If you want to improve braking performance, throw money at good tires.
