Cleaning recommendations for exterior plastic?

Weather will warm up soon enough here to a thorough wash and wax, and wondered if anyone had any recommendations on the plastic trim at the base of the doors and around the wheel wells?

Try "Wolfgang Car Care Exterior Plastic & Rubber Trim Sealant". Not the least expensive
product available but it does an incredible job and lasts quite a while. Available at Amazon
or auyogeek.com.

I use 303 Aerospace protectant , available in Amazon. works great on plastics and rubber. I have been using that on my minivan, it's been 3 years, no color fading or cracking. I re-apply the product every 6 months when I do a major car wash and wax

I wonder if Chemical Guys makes one

Stuff's awesome for cleaning plastic trim. It works by basically stripping everything off though, so if you get it on your paint it'll remove any wax or products you have on there (just apply directly to a rag and take your time).
I just hit mine with the Maguiar’s Ultimate black, as well. Hopefully doing this from new will help keep all that cladding from going ashy.

Just to add, the OP asked about cleaners most have given (myself included) opinions on protectants.
A soft bristle brush or porous cotton cloth with soapy warm water is the best non solvent cleaner IMO.
Then finish with a protectant.

Nice... :) Probably about 10 different versions...
Jokes aside, Chemical Guys VRP works great on this trim.
