Anyone else experiencing ongoing changes to their insurance policy for the CX-50?
Assuming it is probably because of it being an entirely new model, but I've had 3 adjustments since adding it in May as the only vehicle on my policy.
The first two were add'l discounts
for safety features I guess missed or not originally documented in their system, but this last one was an increase of about $150 annually for the collision premium. I was told that it was because the value of the model/trim was updated in their database.
Not sure if it is pertinent, but FYI my policy is through what was MetLife Auto, but they recently sold that business to Farmers and things are mostly now Farmers branded. Maybe that transition is partly causing these multiple policy updates.
