Weird! Some theories off the top of my head:

1. I wondered if this could possibly be the CX-50 underneath (like, "Hey, everybody, let us show you the new CX-5 - Oh, sike! it's actually the CX-50!"), but the LED light signature definitely looks more CX-5 to me.
2. Is it possible these shots were in a market the 2022 CX-5 hasn't officially debuted? Like, maybe the first '22s are arriving for dealers and they're having an event to show the car off to potential customers
3. I feel like I should know what those four red rectangles in the grille are supposed to mean (help me out, anyone who does!), but maybe this is a new special trim package
4. This one's kind of a sub-theory to #3, but maybe it's a final-edition CX-5 and they're announcing that model's retirement

I guess we'll know for sure in a few weeks

i have not seen the car since its not unveiled yet but its supposed to be the same like other market.

but the car is already spotted on the roads, i have seen the pictures and nothing different i guess. it just looks the same like the sporty trim in other markets (gloss-black plastic wheel arch trim w/ red dots in the grille). the difference it has custom badges of "Kuro" which means black.
