Nothing yet, knock on wood. Having said that, even though the wheels are rather large, they still have a decent amount of sidewall at 4.3". For reference, an Accord with 19" wheels only has 3.7" of side wall. So while the CX-50 with 20" wheels does have what qualify as low profile tires, they have about as much sidewall as a low profile tire can have. Still, I am sure some rims will be damaged by potholes.

... has anyone had damage to the 20"rims do to potholes etc?
Unfortunately I became a victim of my own question.
Yesterday I hit a not too big pothole entering a store parking lot. My local repair shop took a look at the tire. The bead is damaged and I'm going to the dealership today into get a replacement under the tire warranty I have...
I'm going to start searching a little harder for 17-in rims... 😵‍💫
